Hey guys! I was lucky enough to get a box of goodies to try out from Influenster and SlimFast. As every girl's New Year goal, I am going to try and shed a few pounds. I was sent these products complimentary, to help me along the way. I've done blog posts and videos on Influenster in the past, but in case you are unfamiliar with the service, Influenster is a free program. You sign up, answer questions, review products, and if you qualify, Influenster will be so kind to send you free products! The products I got from SlimFast are one (1) Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt meal replacement bar, one (1) Vanilla Cream Shake, one (1) 100 Calorie snack Cinnamon Bun Swirled Crisps, and one (1) 100 Calorie Snack Sour Cream and Onion Crisps.
I tried SlimFast shakes years ago. They were in those tin cans, which did not taste too good. Their shakes are no longer in those cans, so I can't wait to try them again. I remember them filling me up though. The meal replacement bar sounds so good, I think it will be my favorite. Plus, it's actually a decent size. If you want to know if I like these snacks, follow my Twitter and Youtube Channel for updates! Make sure you check out SlimFast. They have so much more than they use to. Sign up for Influenster! Merry Christmas + Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe!

The countdown to Christmas is over! It's officially Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful day.
As you're ready to wind down with your family and friends tonight, why not enjoy a cup of delicious homemade hot chocolate? It's so simple to make and very yummy. Make a pot, gather up together on the couch, and watch one last Christmas movie!

Serves around 5.

What you need:
2 cups of milk
2 cups of half and half
1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon of sugar
A splash of vanilla extract
Heat milk and half and half. Stir in chocolate chips. Continue stirring until they are melted. There will be tiny pieces of chocolate throughout the mixture, but they are so small. You won't even notice them. Add a splash of vanilla and a teaspoon of sugar. Some people will prefer a little more sugar while some may not like any. Make sure you taste it before adding the sugar. Some people may want more milk as well, but this is how I made mine. I really liked it.

Enjoy your day! And Have a very Merry Christmas!
From my gang, to yours. :)

Sugar Cookie M&M Bars! Countdown to Christmas!

Hey guys! It's Christmas Eve! Anyone remember that scene from A Christmas Toy? When the bear gathers all the toys in the play room and announce, "It's Christmas Eve!". I loved that movie as a kid. There's just one more day until Christmas!
Today's post is on these sugar cookie m&m bars,
What you Need:
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of soften butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
A dash of nutmeg
1 egg
2 1/3 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of m&ms
1 cup of white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla, nutmeg, egg, and blend. Blend in flour and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips and m&ms. Grease a pan and press the cookie mix into the pan. Bake for ten minutes. Sprinkle the rest of the m&ms and white chocolate chips on top and place back in the oven for an additional fifteen minutes.

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas Eve!

Christmas Baking! Countdown to Christmas!

Hey guys! So it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! That's how I started my final Christmas Haul, which is up now! You can watch it here. It's a Target, Five Below, and Dollar Tree Haul. Sadly, it will be my last Christmas video, but I will be blogging everyday until Christmas still. Hence the last few post being labeled Countdown to Christmas. Today is the 23rd, making it only 1 day until Christmas Eve and 2 until Christmas!
Every year, I do a bunch of baking and give it out to some family and my best friend Natasha's family. Here is what I baked.
Candy cane Christmas trees! These are adorable and make great diy gifts, stocking stuffers, and party favors. I did a blog post on how to make these. Check it out here. They're so easy and take less than 10 minutes. These are great to do with your kids as well.
Peppermint bark...loads! This is everyone's favorite, so I made four batches of it. This is one of the things I make yearly, and though it doesn't get much simpler than peppermint bark, it's always everyone's favorite. I did a blog post on how to make this as well. Click here to learn how.
Devils food cupcakes! I usually make these adorable Christmas tree cakes. I dye the icing green and decorate it with gold stars at the top, and use the pearl candies to make it look like garland, but someone threw my pan away! I was so upset, but decided to make cupcakes and decorate them. I got these adorable cupcake liners with the matching signs at the Dollar Tree! I had a lot of fun decorating these with festive sprinkles, semi sweet chocolate and white chocolate chips, and red and green m&ms. "Do you think Santa will like these red and green m&ms? I don't know I never met the guy!" haha I had to! That commercial never gets old. It's like the Pennsylvania holiday lottery ticket commercial. A classic! If you live in Pa, you know exactly what I mean.
With the left over batter, I made a small cake.
Another new edition this year were these pumpkin spice cookies I made. They were a big hit!
Last but not least, my yearly chocolate chip cookies. Everyone really likes these as well. Including me, and I am not the biggest cookie fan. I made a lot of cookies as well.

I'd just like to note that my friend Natasha threw the candy all over the cupcakes, while I took time to decorate mine nicely. Just wanted to state that! So mine is the cute one in this box.
All of these cupcakes are decorated by yours truly.
And the baking doesn't stop here. Tomorrow I will be making sugar cookie m&m bars. If you want the recipe for any of these goodies, just let me know! I'll do a blog post!

My Favorite Christmas Nail Polishes + Wrapping Presents! Countdown to Christmas!

Hey guys! There are just three days left until it's officially the most magical time of year! How excited is everyone? I am pretty excited. I cannot wait to give my loved ones their presents. If you're curious as to what I got them, you can get a sneak peak if you watch this video.  Tomorrow I will be uploading my final Christmas Haul, and it's a big one.
Today I wanted to talk about my favorite nail polishes for the holiday. I was boring and stuck with red, but an emerald green would be lovely!
The first color is real red from Avon. I love this color. It's a bit more of an orangey red, but it's really pretty and looks like that classic red nail polish.

I love Wet N' Wild's nail polishes. If you're looking for a cheap but pretty color to paint your nails for Christmas, I suggest checking out Wet N' Wild Wild Shine in Red Red.

This one is my favorite, and not just because it's my birthstone. Sorry about the messy paint job. I ran out of nail polish remover. The struggle! This is Brucci's Garnet. It's so pretty and has a light shimmer to it, which I think is perfect for Christmas!

Moving on in a very random fashion. It's what I do. My Christmas wrapping is coming along nicely! I just need about four more bags and I'll be all done! Are you ready for Christmas? I am!

What I got for my boyfriend's stocking! Countdown to Christmas!

Hey guys! In just four days, it will be Christmas. How exciting is that?! I can not believe how December just flew by.  2015 is almost over!
I did a video on the stocking stuffers I got for my boyfriend, however, I got a few more things since that video. If you want to watch the video, you can do so here. I go into detail about where you can get the things I talk about and how much it costs.
I needed to fill it up some more, so I got a few more things at CVS.
The things I got online are chocolate covered Oreos with bacon inside and chocolate covered Twinkies with bacon. Not my thing, but I think he'll appreciate it. At Rite Aid I got a mini Axe cologne and Toblerone bars. At Hallmark, I got beer flavored jelly beans and pancake and maple syrup jelly beans. t CVS, I got Sour Patch kids, two of the spicy Slim Jims, Febreeze car freshener, cute Christmas Ghiradeli chocolates, and Lindt Lindor chocolate truffles.
What are you putting in your loved ones' stockings?

Candy Cane Christmas Trees! Countdown to Christmas

Hey guys! In just five short days, it will be Christmas! Soooo, ummm...how cute are these?! I say very! These make great party favors and are also fun to do with your kids! They're adorable and are super quick and easy. Here's what you do!

What you need:
Mini candy canes.
Hard tack peppermint candies.
White chocolate.
Festive sprinkles.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Connect two mini candy canes so they make a heart shape. At the pointed end of the heart, place a hard tack candy. Cut the straight end off one of the mini candy canes and place that at the other end. Make sure all the candy pieces are touching. Bake for about 2-3 minutes. If you cook this too long, the candy melts.
If the candy isn't completely sticking together, don't worry. The chocolate will act as glue. In a small bowl, melt the white chocolate chips at 30 second intervals. Stirring in between. Once the candy is melted, spoon it  into the empty space in the middle. Make sure you get the little crevasses between the candy pieces. This is how the chocolate will hold it together. Add your sprinkles and place in the freezer for five minutes!
