One of My Dogs Ran Away :'(

She got out the gate, and ran about four blocks to the Wawa parking lot. A lady and her daughter found her. We are trying to get in contact with them somehow.

Halloween Cupcakes

The picture is kind of hard to see, so I'll explain what is on them.
I made these with my little brother. The cupcake mix we used was Paula Deen's chocolate cupcake mix and Pillsburry Cream Cheese icing. We died the icing green and purple. For decoration, I bought a container full of different kinds of Halloween sprinkles and gummy worms. We put tooth picks on the cupcakes, to protect the icing while the cupcakes were covered. They turned out much cuter than their appearance in the photo, and were a lot of fun to make.

Top 10 Mascaras

I consider myself a mascara expert. I've tried more mascaras than I can count. My top 10 mascaras are all going to be affordable mascaras, that can be found very easily.

10. Avon Super Extend - $9.00
This mascara is great for lengthening. If you have fuller lashes and just need a great and affordable lengthening mascara, this is a great option.
9Maybelline Full N' Soft - $7. 39 (Drugstore)
Not only do your lashes appear to be fuller, they also appear to be darker. Who doesn't want darker fuller lashes?
8. CoverGirl Lash Blast - $8.99 (Drugstore)
The large wand is perfect for getting every last lash and extending them. For a while, this was the only mascara I would use.
7. Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express - $7.39 (Drugstore)
This product gives amazing volume to your lashes. It is a great product, at an even greater price.
6. Rimmel London Sexy Curves - $6.47 (Walmart)
The unique brush gives your lashes a lovely curl in all the right places. I haven't seen another brush like it. This product is of wonderful quality and is very inexpensive.
5. Maybelline Great Lash Big Mascara - $5.19 (Drugstore)
This is an oldie but goody. The price is unbeatable. The applicator is big and bushy. Your lashes look fuller and darker.
4. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator - $9.99 (Drugstore)
This mascara does a magnificent job of lengthening lashes. I noticed a difference after the first stroke.
3. Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express - $7.39 (Drugstore)
I love the way my lashes look when I am wearing this mascara. They look longer, fuller, and darker. I have been asked if I was wearing false lashes while wearing this mascara.
2. Avon Super Shock - $9.00
This mascara gives your lashes a very unique look. My lashes appeared much fuller and very fluttery like, yet very natural. I love this mascara!
And the moment you all been waiting for (insert imaginary drum roll here)...
1. Maybelline Pulse Perfection - $14.99 (Drugstore)
This mascara is a little more pricey, but trust me, it's worth it! I am in love with this mascara...yes, you can be in love with a mascara. I most definitely am. The pulse perfection mascara gives your eyelashes the most amazing lift and stunning length.

Please note that pricey will vary from store to store. Results may also vary depending upon each person's eyelashes.

Thanks so much for reading!

Who Else Misses Boy Meets World?

Am I the only one who wonders why Eric went from being normal (just stupid) to being crazy? Eric was always funny, but crazy Eric was the best! I love this show so much! It's a shame there aren't many like it anymore :(

School Blogging

Hey everyone! I am blogging straight from class today :) Aren't I such a good student? The teacher had to step out for a little bit, so I figured, why not blog?
Since I am in class, doing a review or something of that sort would be a little hard. (Time wise and I don't have any products with me to review.) I thought this would be a good time to do more of a personal blog. So here it is:

  10 Random Facts About Me
10) My middle name is Elisabeth. Yes, it is spelled with an S, not a Z.
9) I'm a Capricorn, and I am almost exactly like my sign.
8) I admire Coco Chanel.
7) If I could meet anyone in the world, it would be Torrie Wilson! (Love her!)
6) I am studying to be a Paralegal.
5) I am double jointed in my arms, legs, ankles, and fingers. (I can turn my entire arm around.)
4) I broke my foot and sprained my ankle, but I hardly felt a thing.
3) "A women should be two things, classy and fabulous." Is what I live by.
2) I do most of the cooking/baking in my house.
1) Natalie Wood is my favorite actress! R.I.P Natalie Wood.

Well, there you have it. Ten random facts, when I probably should have gone over my class notes :-p

Top 15 Girly Movies

What girl doesn't love a good chick flick every now and then? I must admit, most of my favorite movies are not chick flicks, but I love a good girly movie. Here are my top 15:

15.  Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging
This was just such a cute film.
14. 27 Dresses
These love stories always end the same, but the 'always a bridesmaid never a bride' theme gave it a great twist.
13. The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2
A great follow-up to the first one. I love the way they all come together just when it seems like they can't.
12. The Wishing Well
I'm not sure how popular this movie is, but I thought it was just so cute! It's a hallmark movie. They have such cute movies. Their Christmas movies are also really good :)
11.  A Walk To Remember
Very sweet, and somewhat sad. I say somewhat, because with Jamie just being in his life, Landon turned into a better person.
10.The Devil Wears Prada
I loved the enhancement on the shallowness of the fashion industry. The Devil Wears Prada took it to the extreme, but in a fabulous way!
9. The Notebook
I know people are going to think I am crazy for putting this as number nine, but my brother wore this movie out for me. If not for him, it would be higher. P.S. My brother, who was about 24 at the time, cried during this and A Walk To Remember :D
8. Ramona and Beezus
I adore this film. It is perhaps, the cutest film I have watched. I took my little cousin to see this, and we both loved it. It's a great movie to watch with your little sis!
7. The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 1
The first films is always the best!
6. Mean Girls
Getting so close to the end makes it difficult to chose. I still love this movie, but seeing it as much as I did, I can't put it as high as I would a year or two ago.
5. Monte Carlo
I also saw this with my little cousin. I love both Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester. It was a great film. I was surprised. I thought this often-told story would be a little repetitive. The movie proved me wrong.
4. Tuck Ever Lasting
This is an AMAZING movie! Several years later, and I'm still in love :)
3. Grease
Nothing like a fun musical, and Grease is one of the best!
2. John Tucker Must Die
This was very funny. I love the character of Kate. This movie may not be the most creative, but the old tale was done amazingly.
1. Girls Just Want To Have Fun
This has to be number one on my list. The soundtrack is amazing, I love the story, the dancing, and the actors. All around this is a great movie!

I Have A Secret...

I said I wanted this blog to be a bit more personal. To do that, I have to be honest. It's not something that upsets me, or am ashamed of. Here it is...
I have an auto immune disease called Evans Syndrome.
My platelets and hemoglobins drop dangerously low.
I've had Evans Syndrome since I was sixteen. This year I had a total of fourteen transfusions and been on steroids. I use to take ten a day. Thank goodness that is over! They gave me a lot of side affects.
The good news...I have been in remission for four months!! :)
The bad news...I can't even ride a bike. :(
See, my blood doesn't clot. Therefore, I hemorrhage.
When I was seventeen I had a bone marrow biopsy. I remember thinking, "Oh, it's no big deal. They just stick a big needle in your hip, and take some of your bone marrow." I didn't think my doctor (who has been practicing for a long time) would mess up...Well he did. I got really sick afterwards. I had a blood infection and almost died. I think it is safe to say I never went back to that doctor again.

Right now, I am doing great. The previous treatments I had seem to be working great! I just wanted to share this, because it is a big part of my life and daily decisions. Evans Syndrome is rare, so I don't expect anyone to have heard about it.

Thank you everyone, who has taken the time to read this post and/or the links provided.

My Fun and Flirty Eye Look

This look can be replicated pretty easily. All of the products used were from the drugstore. For the lid, I used a neutral color. The color used was the creamy neutral color in the Maybelline New York Eye Studio, in the 60 Spirited Seas quad. In the crease and outer corner of my eye I used a matted black. I used the black in the Loreal  Wear Infinite Studio Secrets quad, in 904 Smokey Eyes. For the brow bone and tear duct, I just used a sheer, white, highlight. I find just about any highlight color will do the trick. Revlon False Lashes, Rimmel Sexy London Curves Mascara, and Maybelline black Eye Liner to finish off the look.

This is a pretty and fast look. It's perfect for when you want to give your makeup routine a little something extra, but are short on time.  I've gotten many compliments on this eye makeup, so I thought I would share! :)

I made these for my mom, and she loved them!

The Five People You Meet in Heaven - Book Review

I am a huge bookworm. I adore reading, and love a lot of books. I'll read anything from Shakespeare to S.E. Hinton. For a while, whenever anyone would ask me what was my favorite book I would name a few. The Outsiders, Murder on the Orient Express, and so on. A little over a year ago, I discovered The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Now, I only have one favorite book.

It seems strange that a book that is all about death, cannot make you the least bit sad. Especially, when you read the sad events that went on in the main character's life, but Mitch Albom has a way of doing just that.

The book is about an old man named Eddie. Eddie has worked at Ruby Pier, an amusement park, almost his whole working life. Eddie dies after an accident at Ruby Pier. After, he meets five people in heaven. These five people impacted Eddie's life in some way. Some he knows well, some a little, and some not at all.
This book is an easy read. It's very enjoyable, and when I first read it, I could not put it down. I highly recommend this book. If you read or have read this book, let me know what you think. Hallmark made a movie, and it was great, Not as great as the book though.

Urban Decay Pony Box Review

Urban Decay is a great place to get makeup at. I bought this palette about a month ago, and I adore it. There are six shades of shadows; Snatch, Mildew (weird name for an eyeshadow), Flash, Pain Killer, Smog, and Toasted. Snatch, Smog, and Toasted are my favorites, and they look great together!
Snatch, is a very pretty, peachy pink color, with some shimmer. The shimmer can cause some fall out, so when I am using Snatch, I simply add baby powder underneath my eye, and whisk it away with a fan brush :)
Mildew, is a pretty forest green. Flash, is a pretty bright purple. Pain Killer is the funnest color of all. It is a bright electricish blue. You can create a very daring smokey blue eye with this, or tone it down by using it as a blue liner. Smog and Toasted are lovely browns. They can be used in so many looks. These two shadows are the most versatile of the palette. The palette also comes with a mini 24/7 Glide On eye liner pencil in Zero. This is by far my favorite eye liner. It goes on smooth and last a long time! What more could you want out of a liner? It also comes with a travel size of the infamous Primer Potion. It is a great shadow primer.

I love to wear snatch on the lid, Toasted in the crease, and Smog in the outer corner and on the lower lash line.  I then apply the 24/7 Glide On pencil on my top and bottom lash line. I've gotten lots of compliments on that look, and I've done it on both my older sister and best friend. They both loved it :) I bought this palette for my sister, she loves it almost as much as I do.

Drugstore Makeup Haul

Eye Shadows: L.A. Colors in Darling - $1.50
Foundation and Concealer: L.A. Colors in Light $5.00
Shimmer: Essence Shimmer Powder in Prettylicious - $2.99
Lipstick: Tropez in 22509 - $1.00
I love hauls. It gives me a chance to find new products.

Eyeshadow: So pretty and shimmery. It comes in a few variety of color palettes. I love the one I bought. It's not the best eye shadow, but it is FANTASTIC for the price! Less than two dollars for five colors, you can't beat that!
Foundation and Concealer: This came together. Obviously for the price, I wasn't expecting a miracle worker, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. Neither product is to die for, but the concealer does the trick for me. The foundation...not so much. It's a little cakey, and applies weird.
Shimmer: I love love love love this shimmer! It is just so pretty. The price is AMAZING, and is of really good quality.
Lipstick: This lipstick is a pretty pink. The quality is good, not great, but for a dollar...what else can you expect. It looks good on, and last a few hours. So overall, it's a great deal.

If you have a haul on your blog, comment me! I'd love to see it :)

Candy Making Fun With My Lil Bro

My brother and I made chocolate lollipops and little candies. I'm going to insert a few pictures I snapped, and give you the simple instructions.

First, you need to buy molds, lollipop sticks, chocolate and vanilla wafers, and candy paint and paint brushes.
You can get all of these things at a craft store. The wafers can be bought at your local grocery store. The molds we bought were dogs and cats, and crosses.
Melt the wafers, using either the microwave or the stove top. If you chose to melt them in the microwave, set the microwave to defrost. Stir the wafers every 30 seconds, until they melt.
Fill the molds, insert the lollipop stick about an inch into the melted wafer. Make sure you cover the stick.
Chill the molds for about 10-15 minutes.
When the candy hardens, lightly remove them from the molds. (The candy should almost slide out)
Next paint the candy and chill for 3-5 minutes. (or according to paint directions)

This is such a fun and easy craft to do with your kids or siblings. We had a blast making these. Clean up's a breeze, and the activity itself is very quick. Plus they taste good too :)

Welcome :)

Hey everyone! I am going to take this time to tell you a little bit about my blog. I wanted to make this blog a girl friendly blog. What I mean by that is, I wanted to make a blog that girls of all ages could read and enjoy.

I guess I should start off by telling you all a little about myself. Here it goes:
My name is Christine. I am studying to be a Paralegal. I am the girliest tomboy you will ever meet. Wrestling and baseball are my favorite sports, but don't worry, I won't talk about either of those things here. Makeup makes me happy. It's almost therapeutic to me. I am a bookworm, and writing relieves my stress.

I guess that's it for now. Thanks for visiting my blog, hope you all enjoy it! :)
